Working closely with the marketing team, under a theme of ‘powered by positivity’, I brought the theme to life with a concept of joy making machines. I used a retro inspired aesthetic which linked back to some of the product in-store inspired by a 70’s trend. I created bold and eye catching graphics to draw people in, and help supercharge your 2022!

The campaign carried across multiple events - New Year, Valentine’s, and a journalling offer.

The ‘Joy O’Meter’ was an idea based on an old fairground game and re-imagined to celebrate self love and putting yourself first in the new year. It also promoted a 3 for 2 offer on stationery - giving the customer the tools to get organised for the year ahead.

Continuing with the concept of joy making machines, this promo focused on a discount offer for our notebooks/journals. I created a fun looking ‘stationery machine’ which I imagined to be like something from a mad scientists lab! This represents the act of creating ideas and getting your cogs turning through journalling - encouraging customers to be creative, and that the art is in the process.
